A solar cabin near the southern tip of Eleuthera, within reach of Lighthouse Beach — which is, by most reckonings, the best beach in the country and almost always empty.
Simple in the way that off-grid places are simple: a good bed, an outdoor shower, and a porch you’ll spend most of your time on.
Worth knowing: the track to Lighthouse Beach is rough and genuinely wants a 4×4. The nearest grocery is a long drive, so stock up in Rock Sound.
