Privacy notice
Short version: we collect as little as we can get away with, and we don't sell anything about you.
What we collect
If you ask for the rental checklist, we store the email address you give us so we can send it, plus the occasional new-island guide. Nothing else is attached to it — no name, no location, no browsing history.
We use two analytics tools. Umami is on for every visitor, always — it counts page views without using cookies and can't identify you individually. Google Analytics only runs if you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit; if you do, it collects which pages you view, general device and browser information, an approximate location from your IP address, and a few specific actions like clicking a booking link or submitting the checklist form. What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or share your email address.
- We don't build advertising profiles.
- We don't ask for payment details — bookings happen on the host's own platform, never here.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to booking platforms carry a tracking code so the platform knows the visit came from us. That tells them a booking originated here; it doesn't tell us who you are. Once you follow a link, that platform's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
Getting your data removed
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, which removes your address for good. You can also write to us and ask directly — see contact.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it. Material changes will be mentioned in the newsletter rather than quietly edited in.
