A three-bedroom guest suite on a quiet dead-end street in Freeport, 200 meters from the beach at the end of the road. The suite has its own private entrance, an open-plan kitchen and living area, a dedicated workspace, and a large elevated deck over the garden — genuinely separate from the property’s two other guest suites, each with their own private yard. A rental car is available on site at reasonable rates, which matters on an island where getting around otherwise means arranging a taxi for every outing.

Worth knowing: there’s no smoke or carbon monoxide alarm on the property, which is worth being aware of before booking. There’s also no heating, a non-issue in the Bahamas, and AC and ceiling fans are on hand for warmer months. Renting the on-site car requires drivers to be at least 25.
